Although traditional construction methods were simple and based on personal effort, they laidthe foundation for Saudi building practices and the character of its homes. From this startingpoint, we told the story of Saudi construction from the past to the present, highlighting thecontinuity of inherited customs in its nature such as the majlis, which grows in dignity and unitywith the presence of men, the dining hall (maqlaṭ) where the homeowner honors his guests, andother authentic traditions rooted in every corner of a Saudi home.
